LFC TV
The Gray was commisioned to write 3 peices of music to be used on title sequences for the new LFC TV Channel. The brief was to create a news feel piece for use on the daily news show, a magazine show peice and a dramatic battle piece which was to be used before every match shown.

Second Guest
Dark drama/murder mystery directed by Dan Turner and staring Claire Goose.
The music for this film is more of a contempory cinema score with a heavy use of strings for the main reveal. The opening music is more sound design with some contrabass to add a dark feel. There is also some piano music used during the flat scenes which is a re-recoding of a Bach piece.

Safer Steps
Road safety video for Key Stage 1 & foundation year children.
The video features the voice of Rick Mayall and stars Togo & Nogo.
As the video is aimed at very young children the music has a clear/strong rythm and hopefully a catchy tune that the kids will remember.
It was great to work on a project that featured Rick although he recorded his voice over ISDN so The Gray never got to meet him.

Connecting
Short film set on an over-crowded bus in rush-hour is no-one's idea of fun, but that's just the beginning of Gaz's problems. With phone abuse at a high, he finds it increasingly difficult to keep it together. But it shouldn't be too long. If he can just hold on a little longer... Too late!

Caravan
This is The Gray's first EP which a mish mash of cinematic rambles mixed with any electronic sounds that he could find and liked. The Gray is heavily infuenced by film music and he thinks that this shows through on this EP. One of the songs, "Sleep Facing East" is available on Kipper Records - Catch of the Day 2 from their website or from I-Tunes and CDBaby.

He is very grateful to Kipper for including him on their Catch of the Day series and for all of the incouragement & advice that the guys there have given him. Editz Design & Post Production - Showreel music
The Gray was asked to write music to accompany Editz's showreel, sounds simple, but the dificulty was that the reel had already been cut meaning the music he had to write not only had to be at the same tempo as the original but it also had to match the visual cues.
The final piece of music is ok but he feels that it is a little slow for his liking.

Coral Casino
4 x Stings for the different areas of the campaign.
The brief was to create music that reflected the graphics, The Gray felt that a big band style but mixed up with break beats would be perfect for this and the final result he feels is good.
